DTF Transfers

DTF (Direct to Film) transfers are printed designs that you can apply to clothing using a heat press. They are a great choice for custom T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, and other apparel. Falcon Transfers offers ready-to-press DTF transfers for personal projects, clothing brands, and small businesses.

Ordering custom DTF transfers from Falcon Transfers is simple. Upload your design using our DTF Transfers By Size option, create your own layout with our online DTF Gang Sheet Builder, or upload a print-ready gang sheet. Choose your size and quantity, review the price, and place your order online.

A DTF gang sheet lets you place multiple designs on a single printing sheet. It is a practical option for printing several designs or ordering in larger quantities. You can create your layout with our online gang sheet builder or upload a completed file. For a single design, DTF Transfers By Size may be easier.

The cost of custom DTF transfers depends on the design size, quantity, and printing option you choose. You can check the price for your selected options before checkout. Falcon Transfers offers flexible ordering with no minimum order quantity, making it easy to buy a single transfer or place a larger order.

Yes! Our standard DTF heat transfers work on many fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blends. For heat-sensitive materials such as nylon or performance wear, our DTF LowTemp transfers may be a better choice. Always check the recommended heat press settings and test unfamiliar fabrics before production.

Our turnaround time depends on the specific customization service you choose. Here is a breakdown of our production and shipping timelines:

• DTF & UV DTF Transfers: Same-day shipping for orders placed before our daily cutoff.
• Custom Garment Decoration: Orders are typically processed and completed within  business days.
• Custom Embroidery: Production takes 2 to 4 business days, starting after your final artwork proof approval.

Please Note: For embroidery orders, the faster you approve the digital proof, the sooner your order enters the production line!

No, we have absolutely no minimum order quantity (MOQ) for our custom printing services. Whether you need a single custom-printed t-shirt, a few UV DTF stickers, or a bulk wholesale order, we are happy to help.

You can order exactly what you need, when you need it.

We accept all major file formats for your custom orders. However, to ensure the highest print quality and crisp lines, we highly recommend the following specifications:

• Vector Files (Best Choice): Formats like AI, EPS, SVG, and PDF are ideal because they can be scaled to any size without losing quality.
• Raster Images (PNG, PSD, JPEG): If you are submitting raster files, please ensure they have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI and a transparent background for a seamless print.

💡 Quick Tip: For DTF and UV DTF transfers, a transparent PNG file at 300 DPI is the best format to avoid any unwanted solid background colors.

Our premium DTF and custom prints are designed for commercial-grade durability and to withstand 100+ washes with proper heat press application and garment care. To keep your custom apparel looking vibrant and maintain its quality for years, follow these simple washing instructions:

1. Turn It Inside Out – Protect Your Print

Always turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the printed design from friction against other clothes, zippers, and buttons.

2. Wash in Cold Water – Temperature Control

Use cold water (ideally 30°C / 85°F or below) on a gentle cycle. Hot water can weaken the print adhesive over time.

3. Use Mild Detergent – Protect the Colors

Wash with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh stain removers, as these chemicals may damage the print and reduce its lifespan.

4. Air Dry or Tumble Dry on Low – Proper Drying

Air drying is the best way to preserve print quality and longevity. If using a dryer, select a low-heat setting to minimize heat exposure.

5. Iron with Caution – Protect the Design

Never iron directly over the printed design. If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out and avoid applying direct heat to the print.

Please Note: Actual wash durability may vary depending on fabric type, heat press application, washing conditions, and garment care.

You can apply our ready-to-press DTF transfers using a heat press. For standard Falcon DTF transfers, the recommended settings are 282°F (139°C), medium-high pressure, and 9 seconds. Peel the film immediately, then complete the final press as instructed. Always follow the application guide for your specific transfer type.

Proper application and washing help protect your DTF prints. Wait at least 24 hours after pressing before washing. Turn garments inside out, wash in cold water with mild detergent, and avoid bleach. Air drying or low-heat drying is recommended. Results may vary depending on the fabric, application, and care.

DTF transfers are designed for fabric and are applied using a heat press. UV DTF stickers are made for smooth, hard surfaces such as glass, tumblers, acrylic, and metal. They can be applied without heat. Choose DTF transfers for custom clothing and UV DTF stickers for personalized products and packaging.
