Heat Press Instructions for

Falcon (Iron-on Backing) Embroidered Patches

Equipment Needed to Get Started:

  • Heat Press Machine
  • Silicone Upper Platen Cover (recommended for smooth pressing & garment protection)
  • Heat-Resistant Foam Pad (recommended for seams, pockets, hats, and uneven surfaces)
  • Falcon Embroidered Patches
  • Thermal Heat Tape
1.

Peel the Backing

Take your embroidered patch and peel off the paper backing to expose the adhesive underneath.

2.

Position the Patch

Set the patch exactly where you want it on the garment. Once you're happy with the placement, tape down all the edges with heat-resistant tape so it can't shift or slide during pressing.

3.

Flip the Garment

Turn the garment so the patch is facing down against the heat press plate. This protects the patch and gives you an even press through the fabric.

4.

Heat Press the Patch

Press at 325°F for 15 seconds, using firm, even pressure.

5.

Let It Cool

Let the garment cool completely, then remove the tape and lift it off the press. The patch is now fused into the fabric. Soft, permanent, and it holds up to 100 washes.
